Yes the registry is an other option to look up, I hoped this anomaly was dealt with by someone that found an easy fix for it.still hoping. I did a search no exe related app to ShareX in a directory snuggled in documents, I tried to delete this sub-directory I got a message telling that the sub-directory is being used by another app. This screenshot tool is only available as a Google Chrome extension (which may be a downside for some).

This may not be a major problem, but it can be a tad bit annoying. You may also need to check Regedit to see if there are any keys and decide whether to manually remove or not (please backup the registry before making any changes). If there is no entry in Add/Remove Apps then navigate to the folder C:\Program Files\ShareX\Īnd look for C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exeĭouble-clicking should run an uninstaller and the program is gone.
